Welcome to Classic Hymns. I am pleased to offer you these beautiful, inspiring hymns for your enjoyment. I always enjoyed the old hymns and like to pass them on. A hymn is a song written especially to praise, adore, or ask God for something. A classic hymn is a hymn which has stood the test of time -often for many centuries. I find hymns so valuable for prayer. There is nothing else like a beautiful old hymn so full of meaning and spiritual richness to turn our hearts towards God.

Old classic hymns have always been a passion of mine. I love preserving our history and heritage and the beautiful and reverent language of these wonderful hymns which come from many different times and places. This is my small contribution. I hope with time to feature thousands of hymns!
